Jeremy's Expertise and Bob's Journey: The Personalized Care at Method Rehab

How Method Rehab Reimagines Rehabilitation

For older adults, there is no one-size-fits-all technique for rehabilitation. Whether for a fall, chronic illness, gradual decline, or beyond, each patient deserves a personalized method for the highest quality of care. That's what sets Method Rehab apart.

As an integral division of Walker Methodist, Method Rehab empowers patients to take meaningful strides toward greater independence and quality of life.

Oftentimes, the progress nurtured by our physical, occupational, and speech therapy services brings hope to even the most dire circumstances. Walker Methodist resident, Bob Nicklay discovered the life-changing difference of Method Rehab firsthand after connecting with Jeremy Tvrdik, one of our dedicated physical therapists.

Bringing Personalized Care to Every Patient

From in-home care to outpatient therapy, we pride ourselves on making specialized support accessible. In late 2022, Bob had a series of health setbacks, including a heart attack. When he returned home from the hospital, he needed therapy to improve his mobility. As Bob noted, “I was shuffling when I walked and had to learn how to get out of chairs with no hands.

Bob started therapy sessions with Method Rehab, which provides in-home care at Walker Methodist communities in partnership with Knute Nelson Home Health Care. Jeremy, Method Rehab Physical Therapist, turned his attention and expertise to help Bob. He was not only progressing physically but also enjoying the process. In the same spirit as our entire team, Jeremy finds the greatest sense of purpose in the people he serves. In his words, “I take pleasure in seeing the smiling faces of my clients on a daily basis.”

Supporting Quality of Life Across Specialties

With a highly trained team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, our caregivers at Walker Methodist guide patients toward easier activities of daily living, improved overall health, safer mobility, and greater independence.

For Bob’s journey, progress came one step at a time — literally. “Jeremy would watch how I walk and show me how to improve that… I had a hard time getting out of chairs too, and so one of the exercises was getting out of chairs. Now, I can do that with no hands.”

Connecting Patients with Friendly and Familiar Faces

Part of what differentiates Method Rehab from traditional therapy is our commitment to consistency. While Bob enjoyed seeing Jeremy each day, he was also receiving the support of our entire physical therapy team behind the scenes. Jeremy said, “As a physical therapist, I have constant communication with the rest of the therapy team to determine treatments for the best possible outcomes.”

This team-centric strategy is consistent throughout all of our Method Rehab specializations. Whether we’re focusing on voice treatments, pain management, Parkinson’s care, cognition, or one of our many other offerings, patients can take confidence in our collective approach.

Getting Started with Method Rehab

Whether for one or multiple specialties, Method Rehab brings personalization to every patient. In Jeremy’s words, “We can coordinate our care to cover multiple days and space out therapy sessions to prevent overwhelming our patients.”

This is just another way we put those we serve first. As Bob can attest, the results speak for themselves. “They check in on me all the time. It just makes your day when they come in with a big smile. I can’t say enough about them. They are all good.”
