At the beginning of 2020, Point Click Care designated 2020 as the Year of the Nurse and selected 12 nurses from across the country to feature throughout the year. In December, our own Janet Gonnella, RN, was chosen as Nurse of the Month for December. Janet serves as the RN nurse education specialist at the Walker Methodist Health Center in Minneapolis.
One of Janet's team members at the Health Center said, "Janet is the jack-of-all trades nurse at our 250-bed LTC facility. She wears many hats and her wisdom is sought out by everyone. We are lucky to have Janet as a part of our team and believe she is one of the best nurses in the country!" Janet has been a dedicated long-term care nurse for 27 years, and we couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this special honor.
